Getting ready to go to the Dominican Republic
Nurses on a Mission is preparing for it's 8th medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic. We are a team of 21 healthcare professionals and students traveling with Foundation for Peace. We will be headed south on March 2, 2023 to fly to Santo Domingo. While in the DR we will be conducting medical clinics in remote impoverished communities. This year we will also be making home visits. We have found through the years that we all come home changed and blessed. The people we serve have such joy even in difficult situations. They open their hearts to us and we feel the love. The plan is to try to blog each day of our trip and include some pictures for you to enjoy.
